“ absolute banger of a restaurant. First time eating in Kilburn and I don’t think I’ll be trying anywhere else anytime soon. Faris served us with grace and hospitality. Even let me in with my naughty dog (see picture). The food was impeccable; Faris sorted us out with a sick platter that was probably the best fish I’ve ever had in my whole entire life. I recommend this place so highly. Faris & the team are amazing. The food slaps. BYOB too. ”
“ Best seafood i’ve eaten. A friend recommended that we eat here so i was expecting it to be nice, and i was honestly blown away! We were spoilt for choice from the fresh fish available so we went for manager’s, and chef’s, recommendations. Huge portions, delicious food, and THE most welcoming environment. Great for families, as well as couples or groups, my 1 year old daughter had the best time, loved the food, the prawns in particular. A must try! We’ve moved out of London now, everytime we come back to visit i make sure we eat at least once here. We can’t get enough, love it! Thank you team Faris ”
“ I went to this restaurant the other day as I was hungry and wanted to eat something before, I went to see a play at the Kiln Theatre. I wasn’t sure what type of food I wanted and there were a lot of different places around, however as I walked down Kilburn High Road and one place caught my eye and that was Faris Fishmonger ,a middle eastern fish restaurant. I hadn’t heard of the restaurant before, but I saw that they served fish and I love fish. I wasn't disappointed as the food and service were amazing. It's a restaurant and a fishmonger, so the fish is fresh, in fact I picked my fish from the selection of fresh fish that they was being sold, and they cooked it and that's what I ate. I have a very big appetite and I had a big platter with fish soup with generous helpings of crab, 2 large well grilled fish (I forget what kind), some huge, seasoned prawns, rice, salad, tangy spicy sauce and humous. This was served on a big tray and could have been shared between 3-4 people perhaps. All the food was very well seasoned and flavourful and tantalised my taste buds. The waiter was fantastic and provided fantastic customer service. We had a pot of lemon, ginger, and honey to counteract the effects of the cold weather. My friend also had a very generous aromatic portion of fish and chips and salads. Well-seasoned and tasty and big enough to share. I will be going back to Faris Fishmonger again as I had an amazing relaxed dining experience, the food portions were very generous and extremely tasty. I have recommended it to friends and family and recommend it to anyone that loves fish. ”
